12.01.07
Professor dr. Anuška Ferligoj, head of the Centre for methodology and Informatics has in 2007 become a member of European Academy of Sociology (EAS), which links most respectable European sociologists.
Current 27 members of EAS come from the most prestigious universities of ''old'' Europe; prof. Ferligoj therefore became the first member coming from the country of ''new'' Europe.
From any viewpoint this is exceptional acknowledgment for dr. Ferligoj, as well as for the research group of the Centre for Methodology and Informatics, Faculty of Social Sciences and for University of Ljubljana.
